About Tellaro

What's in a name?

Simply put, I have always been fascinated by both the characteristics and imagery of the octopus. These creatures are incredibly intelligent, curious, and adaptable to changing environments, and with eight arms they can handle more than most – all qualities we embrace in our practice.

The name “Tellaro” comes from a small village on Italy’s Northern coast with an incredible history and connection to the octopus. On a stormy night many years ago, pirates hoped to use bad weather and darkness to attack this sleeping village. An octopus climbed the church belfry and rang the church bells, alerting the townspeople of the approaching danger. Since then, Tellaro has held an annual festival celebrating the Octopus. We thought this story and its connection with the octopus personified the approach we take with our clients every day.

We support and appreciate each other’s contributions by executing on our individual responsibilities, communicating well, helping others when needed, and managing expectations. Each Tellaro team member is an integral contributor to our overall success… and we encourage a smile or laugh along the way.

    We operate in a constantly evolving industry and approach each day with the expectation that markets, tax code, regulations, our even our team and our clients will be different in the future. Our commitment is to be nimble and optimistic so we can leverage new opportunities to best serve our clients.
